The Kasumigaseki Foreign Service Association (KaFSA) was established in 1940 to study the international affairs so as to contribute to the promotion of diplomacy and to facilitate exchanges among its members.
Today, it has around 1,100 members. The membership is open to those who work or have worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic missions abroad.
The activities of KaFSA include;
－inform the members by organizing monthly lectures and publishing monthly bulletin for the members.
－inform the public through its website and by
organizing lectures open to the public.
－promote the exchanges with the central and local government, the business sector and the academia.
－exchange views with sister organizations abroad.
